Jeffrey Epstein Documents Reveal Names Matching Accuser’s Claims

A new set of records related to Jeffrey Epstein was made public on Tuesday. These newly released records encompass seven documents, totaling 1,482 pages. This release follows over 215 documents that have been made available since last week.

Included in the latest release are multiple depositions from Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s long-time associate, along with one deposition each from Epstein himself, Virginia Giuffre (an alleged victim of Epstein), and Sarah Ransome, another supposed adult victim. These documents were prominently mentioned during Monday’s disclosure.

These materials are part of a defamation lawsuit initiated by Giuffre against Maxwell, which was settled in 2017. Epstein, who was facing federal sex trafficking charges, died by suicide in a Manhattan jail.

Notably, the documents include a deposition by Giuffre from a separate defamation case against former Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz in Florida. In this testimony, Giuffre alleges that billionaire Les Wexner was among the “powerful business executives” she was trafficked to. Wexner, who had granted Epstein power-of-attorney over his personal finances in 1991, has not been charged with any crime. He has denied knowledge of Epstein’s illegal activities in a statement to L Brands employees after Epstein’s 2019 arrest.

Following Epstein’s death, Wexner accused him of misappropriating substantial amounts of his personal wealth. In February 2020, Wexner stepped down from his executive role at L Brands, which includes Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works, and Pink. His charitable foundation has yet to respond to ABC News regarding these recent filings.

The deposition also lists several other men whom Giuffre claimed she was trafficked to, including Britain’s Prince Andrew, Hyatt Hotel’s Thomas Pritzker, the late Marvin Minsky, and former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson. Pritzker and Richardson have both denied these allegations.

Many of these documents had been previously unsealed in different formats, but they are now being republished with new unredacted sections.

The 134-page deposition from Epstein, previously unreleased, shows his extensive use of the Fifth Amendment right.

Monday’s unsealing also revealed photos from Ransome and an exhibit that includes her now-recanted allegations against former Presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, Prince Andrew, and Richard Branson. Only Ransome has accused these individuals, with Clinton and Trump denying any involvement in Epstein’s crimes. The Virgin Group, on behalf of Branson, has called Ransome’s claims “false, baseless, and unfounded.”

Jeffrey EpsteinPrince Andrew, facing allegations of sexual encounters with Giuffre, which he has consistently denied, settled a lawsuit with her in 2022.

Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence for her role in aiding Epstein’s sex trafficking. Her appeal is scheduled for March.
