Northern Lights Spectacle Expected in Minnesota: Ideal Viewing Conditions Forecasted

Minnesota residents and skywatching enthusiasts are in for a potential treat as the space weather forecast suggests a heightened possibility of witnessing the Northern Lights on Monday night.

The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, conveyed the promising news via a tweet on Sunday, stating, “The Space Weather Prediction Center is indicating that the potential for a geomagnetic storm has increased for Monday into Tuesday. This means a greater chance of northern lights over North America.”

As of the latest information available, the optimal time for Northern Lights viewing is expected to be from 10 p.m. on Monday to 4 a.m. on Tuesday.
