The aftermath of the exhibition boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III has taken a turn for the worse. Following a dual disqualification and a chaotic brawl involving both fighters’ camps, Nicolette Gotti, sister of John Gotti III, allegedly made threatening remarks towards Mayweather’s daughter.
Jeff Nadu, a former Barstool personality, shared a screenshot of what appeared to be Nicolette’s Instagram Story, containing a message directed at Mayweather. The message read:
“[@floydmayweather] your daughter was involved with someone with multiple children from different women – your little spectacle – you’re all like a group of wild animals. I promise you, on my children’s lives, I will go after your daughter. It may happen in two or three years, but I will come for her.”As of Monday, Nicolette’s Instagram page is set to private.
It is important to note that Mayweather’s daughters’ names, Iyanna (known as “Yaya”) and Jirah, were not mentioned in the message. Nicolette and John Gotti III are descendants of the notorious crime figure John Gotti, who served as the boss of the Gambino crime family from 1986 to 1991. Their father, Gotti Jr., acted as the family’s boss during Gotti Sr.’s imprisonment.
Prior to the fight, Mayweather’s daughters hinted at the public debut of Yaya’s two-year-old son, KJ, whom she shares with her reported fiancé, rapper NBA YoungBoy (birth name Kentrell DeSean Gaulden).
Yaya wrote on her Instagram Story, “If you want to see KJ for the first time, tune into my dad’s fight tonight!”
A video shared by Yaya’s mother, Melissia Rene, showed Mayweather holding his grandson shortly before the chaos erupted at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida.
The fight ended controversially when Gotti disagreed with referee Kenny Bayless’ decision to stop the match with less than a minute remaining in the sixth round. Gotti bypassed the official and attacked Mayweather, resulting in a chaotic brawl involving both camps.
Mayweather and Gotti were then directed to their respective locker rooms.
Afterwards, Rene shared a video on her Instagram Story of Yaya dancing, with the caption: “I am fiercely protective of my loved ones.”
Additionally, reports surfaced of another altercation backstage involving rappers and reality TV personalities Joseline Hernandez, who performed before the fight, and Big Lex.
