Stolen Car Plunges Over San Francisco Stairs, Occupants Survive and Flee the Scene

A shocking video has surfaced online capturing the dramatic moment when a stolen car careened over a large set of stairs in San Francisco. The vehicle roared over the hill, knocking down a tree, and finally landing on its roof after colliding with a parked car. Miraculously, three or four people inside the car emerged unharmed. A quick-thinking bystander rushed to the scene and managed to help one of the individuals exit the wrecked car.

The incident unfolded at a serene intersection near Dolores Park and the Castro District. Fortunately, no pedestrians were on the stairs or sidewalk when the car’s daring escape took place.

Martha Rose, a resident who witnessed the aftermath, expressed amazement at the survival of the occupants and the car’s path of destruction. The sedan plowed through trees and railings before ending up upside down.

The San Francisco Fire Department responded to the incident the following morning, confirming that it was a non-injury collision that occurred at 7:18 p.m. the previous night. Witnesses informed fire personnel that all occupants had fled the scene. The area was secured by fire personnel as a tow truck eventually removed the stolen vehicle. The San Francisco Police Department took over the investigation and management of the scene.
