A naked woman was apprehended near the Bay Bridge toll plaza on Tuesday evening, causing significant traffic delays in the eastbound direction.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), several calls were received just before 5 p.m. alerting them to a woman who had exited her vehicle completely nude while wielding a firearm. Although there were reports of shots being fired, the CHP could not immediately confirm these claims.
CHP officers quickly responded to the scene and discovered the woman walking naked on the freeway. They successfully took her into custody without any reported injuries.
