A woman was stabbed late Saturday inside a terminal at Miami International Airport, leaving her in critical condition and causing a temporary disruption of service, according to police and airport officials.
The Miami-Dade Police Department reported that an adult male suspect was arrested at the Miami International Airport.
The attack occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the upper level of Terminal J, within the international arrivals hall. The situation was quickly brought under control, airport officials stated.
“We want to assure the public that the situation is under control and the safety of our passengers, staff, and visitors remains our top priority,” the Miami-Dade Aviation Department said.

Passengers in the vicinity were rerouted to other checkpoints or terminals, causing airport traffic disruptions for approximately two hours, officials noted.
