Matty Healy, singer of the English pop band The 1975 gave fans something to remember in his performance on Monday at New York’s Madison Square Garden. His antics involved taking off his shirt, getting sensual with a piece of raw meat, pretending to masturbate with it, and then devouring it.
To make things even more shocking, Healy’s mother, British actress and star of “Coronation Street,” Denise Welsh, 64, watched on through the entire shocking performance. She even tweeted a photo of herself and three other guests outside the venue, captioning it, “Oh, what a night.”
It is unclear what meat the 33-year-old singer used, but it seemed to be some bone-in chop. His reasoning behind the performance is also unknown.

Some said they went with their parents, and they’re sure their parents were shocked about the scene.
Meanwhile, some are not that surprised about what they see, even with the raw meat and masturbation on stage happened.
It is not the first time Healy included controversial acts in his performance. During another show, he was seen smoking on a sofa. He then began unbuttoning his shirt and nearly touching his crotch.
