According to an L.A. County Coroner report, the late singer, Lisa Marie Presley, who was the daughter of music legend Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, passed away in January at the age of 54 due to complications from a small bowel obstruction.
It’s important to note that no drug paraphernalia was discovered at Presley’s home on the day of her death. However, the coroner did mention that Presley had a history of “overmedicating” and occasionally forgot if she had taken her medication, resulting in accidental double-dosing. She had been prescribed opiates following a cosmetic procedure a few months prior to her death.
The report also indicated that the urine toxicology screen came back negative. Unfortunately, Presley suffered a cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital, but she couldn’t be revived.

Lisa Marie Presley is survived by her daughter Riley Keough and her mother Priscilla Presley. She tragically lost her son Benjamin in 2020 when he took his own life at the age of 27. Just days before her passing, Presley made her final public appearance at the 80th Golden Globes. Recently, Riley Keough, known for her role in the Amazon series “Daisy Jones and the Six,” was nominated for an Emmy Award and paid tribute to her late mother and brother on Instagram, sharing a photo of them together and expressing her love and longing for them.
