Cleveland Police have released footage captured by body cameras during the mass shooting that unfolded in the early hours of Sunday morning. The incident occurred on W. 6th Street as the bars were closing at approximately 2 a.m., resulting in injuries to nine individuals, according to authorities.
The released footage includes clips from four officers present at the scene, with two of them capturing the sound of gunshots. During the chaos, as people fled the area, a total of nine gunshots can be heard. In response, Cleveland Police officers stationed in the Warehouse District promptly ran towards the gunfire.
Officers immediately attended to the injured victims, including a woman who had sustained a gunshot wound to her leg. Using available resources, an officer fashioned a makeshift tourniquet to halt the bleeding until paramedics arrived.

Fortunately, most of the victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, primarily to their arms, legs, or hands, as confirmed by officials. On Tuesday, authorities apprehended the suspect, identified as 25-year-old Jaylon Jennings, who subsequently appeared in court on Thursday.

Jennings faces nine counts of attempted murder and is presently detained at the Cuyahoga County Jail on a bond amounting to $9 million.
