Arlington Police have apprehended a man who allegedly assaulted an unknown individual in the vicinity of a bus stop in Arlington. According to investigators, 29-year-old Kenneth Simon engaged in an argument while on a bus traveling along north Sycamore Street on Tuesday night.
Interestingly, the person Simon argued with was not the same individual he ultimately assaulted. Upon disembarking from the bus, Simon allegedly forcefully pushed another man to the ground, resulting in the victim being hospitalized.
The incident has prompted concerns among some passengers regarding the overall safety of local buses. The current condition of the assaulted individual remains unclear at this time.

Kenneth Simon now faces charges of malicious wounding as brought forth by the police.
