Andrew Tate, the controversial internet influencer facing charges of rape, human trafficking, and leading a criminal gang to exploit women sexually, has been granted an appeal to be freed from house arrest. Instead, he will be subjected to judicial control measures, as confirmed by his spokesperson.
The specific details of the restrictions imposed on Tate have not been disclosed to the public at this time. The decision was reached by the Bucharest Court of Appeal subsequent to the formal indictment of the 36-year-old Tate in June, alongside his brother Tristan and two Romanian women, all involved in the same case.
The arrests of the four individuals occurred in late December near Bucharest. Throughout the legal process, all four defendants have vehemently denied the allegations brought against them.
Although banned from a number of social media platforms last year, Tate has since been reinstated on Twitter, where he continues to update his followers on his legal situation.
