On Saturday, it was revealed that former teen sensation Aaron Carter had died. Despite the fact that the causes of his untimely death are still being investigated, accounts of what transpired on that tragic day are emerging.
According to sources close to the situation, news of Carter’s request for EMS was heard on Anthony and Amanda Cheval’s police scanner. Amanda Cheval, 30, a registered nurse, had a defibrillator on hand when she knocked “several times” on the rapper’s door. Carter’s housekeeper then informed her that Carter was “dead.”
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Anthony Cheval, a CPR instructor, said he heard a call out of 927D for Carter’s house, which is a code for a possible dead body. He went to that house to check the status of Carter. However, a Carter’s housekeeper opened it instead.
She then told Cheval that Carter was gone.
Cheval tried to enter to perform CPR but said Carter’s housekeeper wouldn’t let him in and locked the door.

LA County Sheriff Deputies made their way to the scene just a few moments afterward. Carter is confirmed to be dead.
Still, the cause of death has yet to be determined.
