A woman was stopped by airport security with a butt plug containing her former boyfriend’s ashes.
The 23-year-old law student, Sarah Button, took to TikTok to share her experience. Her video racked up over 4.9 million views leaving many commentators stunned.
She wore the butt plug when going through security in the United Arab Emirates.
The security asked about the object, and Button explained what it was. It was a vulgar topic that the officials didn’t like, which led to their detainment in the airport.
Button claimed that airport security took her and her friend’s passports and phones. She was forced to call her father, so he could contact the Australian embassy to help them.
She also stated that another officer came to talk to them and asked them to sign some documents. This document states that if they go outside the airport, they’ll go straight to jail.
Button said she learned her lesson from this experience. She never thought that explaining a butt plug might offend someone.
Despite this experience, she still obliged and happily shared the story behind the item.
She said that it acts as an irony since her passed boyfriend’s favorite place is that area. Also, she said she could now travel with him to places they haven’t been with.
Button mentioned it was a genius idea, making her remember him without crying.
