As of 6 a.m. local time, the fire remains 0% contained, according to Cal Fire. Officials have warned of significant threats to both life and property. Residents who need extra time to evacuate, along with those with pets or livestock, have been urged to leave immediately.

Evacuation warnings are in effect for the following locations:
- North of California 60
- East of County Village Road
- South of the Riverside/San Bernardino County Line
- West of Sierra Avenue
Efforts to Contain the Blaze
Cal Fire reported that a robust firefighting response, including fire engines, ground crews, bulldozers, and night-flying water-dropping helicopters, was deployed to combat the blaze on Thursday night.
“Resources worked on containment throughout the night in challenging terrain with light flashy fuels and east-blowing winds,” Cal Fire stated in an online update.
