The tremor occurred at 2:47 a.m. local time, approximately 2 miles (3.2 kilometers) northwest of Aromas, at a depth of 7.4 kilometers (4.59 miles), the agency reported on its website and social media.
Local media reported no immediate injuries or significant property damage.
