On Saturday, a vehicle crashed into an Elks Lodge in Arizona, injuring more than 24 people, according to the police.
In a statement shared on social media, the Apache Junction Police Department confirmed, “The driver is in custody, and alcohol was a factor in the incident.”
Authorities reported that ten individuals were transported to local hospitals, while 15 others received treatment for minor injuries at the scene.
The Elks Lodge is located on N. Apache Trail in Apache Junction, a city roughly 45 minutes east of Phoenix.
