An SUV crashed into a CarMax dealership in Inglewood, California, on Saturday, injuring eight people, including two critically, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The driver, a customer whose vehicle had been appraised, was later arrested, according to CarMax.
Incident Caught on Video
Footage from the scene, shared on social media, shows the SUV backing into the building, an employee rushing out, and the vehicle driving through the lobby before exiting the other side.
Emergency responders treated six other victims with minor injuries.

Initial Active Shooter Concerns
Authorities initially responded to reports of an active shooter, but no gunfire was involved, according to fire department spokesperson Jonathan Torres.
CarMax thanked officials for their quick response, stating, “We appreciate the authorities’ swift response to this terrible event.”
The Inglewood Police Department has yet to provide further details.
