LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles FC striker Olivier Giroud was the target of a burglary earlier this month, according to police reports.
The 38-year-old French soccer star, who joined LAFC in May 2024, had his west Los Angeles home broken into on February 5. Police responded to a report of a smashed upstairs bedroom window and confirmed that the residence had been burglarized.
LAFC spokesperson Seth Burton acknowledged the incident but declined to comment further on behalf of Giroud or the organization.
Giroud’s Legendary Career
Before making the move to Major League Soccer (MLS), Giroud built an impressive career across top European clubs, including:
- Arsenal (2012–2018) – A prolific six-season run in the English Premier League (EPL).
