Rapper Lil Baby was arrested in Las Vegas early Monday morning on charges of carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The arrest took place on the Las Vegas Strip, though specific details leading to the incident have not been disclosed.
Lil Baby, whose real name is Dominique Jones, was apprehended despite holding a valid concealed carry permit from Georgia. His attorneys, Drew Findling and David Chesnoff, are currently investigating the circumstances of his arrest.
The 29-year-old rapper has not yet been formally charged with the felony offense under Nevada law and was released on bond. He is scheduled to appear in court in Las Vegas on October 1.
