Snoop Dogg is making his presence felt at the Paris Olympics, and on Friday morning, he was seen carrying the Olympic torch ahead of the opening ceremony.
As one of the final torch bearers, Snoop Dogg carried the flame, which was lit in Greece in April and has been making its way to Paris ever since. His segment took place in Saint-Denis, a suburb of Paris.
Earlier this week, Snoop Dogg expressed his gratitude to both the U.S. and France for this unique opportunity.
“I consider this a prestigious honor and something I truly respect. I never imagined anything like this,” he said. “I’m going to be on my best behavior, showcasing my best athleticism. I’ll be able to breathe slowly, walk fast, and hold the torch with a smile on my face, knowing how significant this event is.”
