Parents mortified as son poops in display toilet at U.K. supply store

A young boy is garnering a lot of attention on social media after pooping into a display toilet at an U.K. appliance store. Images that detailed the incident were posted to Facebook racking up over 26,000 shares and 16,000 reactions.

Caroline Akhtar was out shopping at a B&Q supply store in Glastonbury with her partner Aaron, her 4-year-old son Jacob and her daughters, Frankie, 3 and Eliza, 1.

The parents turned their backs for just a second and when they turned back around, they found Jacob pooping into one of the toilets. She immediately told her son to get off, but it was too late as he had already deposited a “very big poo” into the display fixture.

With little else to do, the woman ran to the car and to get wipes.

“He was still on the toilet, so I proceeded to help wipe his bum still and explain about the toilets in shops are not actual toilets.”

After the deed was done, Aaron was left with the unpleasant task of fishing the poop out of the toilet. He did so with a plastic bag over his hand, much like a dog owner would.

Thankfully, the store didn’t seem to mind the stinky situation too much.

“The young shop assistant couldn’t stop laughing but also completely ignored the situation, don’t blame the lad,” Caroline wrote on Facebook.

Although the parents were mortified at first, they now see the humor in the matter.

“At first, we were mortified but then we found it funnier and funnier. I quick-paced back to the car park to get wipes and nappy bags and couldn’t stop laughing then.” Caroline explained.

Social media users also found the crappy situation hilarious.

“This has made my day!! Amazing,” wrote one Facebook commentor

“When you gotta go, you gotta go,” said another.

“Well at least he’s potty trained, “a third chimed in.
