Robert J. O’Neill, aged 47, was arrested and subsequently released on $3,500 bond on the same day, according to records from Collin County. O’Neill has not provided any comments regarding the incident, and it remains unclear whether he has legal representation.
Frisco police released a written statement confirming that O’Neill is facing charges of assault causing bodily injury, classified as a Class A misdemeanor, and public intoxication, categorized as a Class C misdemeanor. Presently, jail records only display the assault charge.
As of Friday, Frisco police declined to provide additional details regarding the circumstances leading to the arrest.
Posts on social media reveal that O’Neill, noted as a resident of Tennessee in jail records, was in Frisco on Tuesday to record a podcast at a cigar lounge.

O’Neill, originally hailing from Montana, initially claimed in 2014 to have fired the shots that resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden in 2011. The U.S. government has not officially confirmed or refuted this assertion.
