Law enforcement officials are currently investigating a tragic motorcycle crash that occurred on Thursday evening in Duluth, resulting in the death of one person and leaving another in critical condition.
According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, the motorcycle crash took place at approximately 6 p.m. on the 7400 block of Rice Lake Road when a motorcycle collided with an SUV.
Regrettably, the motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The female passenger suffered critical injuries and was promptly transported to a local hospital. The current status of her condition remains undisclosed. Fortunately, the driver of the SUV emerged from the collision unharmed.

While authorities have not disclosed the specific cause of the crash, they have stated that alcohol is not believed to have played a role. Both the sheriff’s office and the Minnesota State Patrol are actively investigating the collision.
