A man has been arrested by the Massachusetts State Police after he evaded a traffic stop and forcefully pushed a state trooper into oncoming traffic. The entire incident was captured on the officer’s dashcam.
The police department reported that the trooper approached the motorcycle driver on foot, as he had been observed operating the vehicle recklessly on the highway.
The officer instructed the driver, identified as 19-year-old Colin James Webb, to “shut off the engine of the motorcycle and dismount.” However, Webb persistently refused to comply and repeatedly turned the ignition of the bike on and off. In the video, Webb can be seen driving ahead despite the trooper standing in front of the motorcycle.
As a result, the officer was forcefully pushed into the flow of traffic, narrowly avoiding a collision with a passing pickup truck at the intersection. Subsequently, Webb fled the scene by taking a side road.
