On Thursday, official statements confirmed that authorities are currently searching Kimberlee Singler of Colorado Springs. She is suspected of being involved in the heartbreaking murder of her two young children and causing injury to one more child.

Singler is facing charges of murder, attempted murder, and child abuse as stated by the city in a warrant for her arrest. The troubling event was brought to Colorado Springs police’s attention after Colorado Springs police received a 911 call reporting a burglary at an apartment complex on December 19 around midnight. Upon arriving at the scene, authorities found Singler’s lifeless young daughter and son, aged nine and seven, respectively.

Singler and her 11-year-old daughter were discovered wounded at the location. They were immediately taken to nearby hospitals for appropriate treatment. The police initially responded due to a burglary inquiry, but as per the official statement released afterward, it was found baseless upon further investigation.
