A massive and fatal 200-car pileup in China was captured on video.
According to Reuters, a massive crash occurred on the Zhengxin Huanghe Bridge in Zhengzhou on Wednesday as a heavy fog descended.
The video didn’t show what caused the pileup, but the first clip featured a truck slamming into the damaged cars.
In a clip, a bystander said that there are many people involved in the accident, making it difficult to get off the bridge.
Videos from the scene also showed cars, vans, and SUVs colliding in all directions, many with damaged front hoods and windows.
According to Reuters, the fire department in the area dispatched a total of 11 fire trucks with firemen to the scene to help the people to get to safety. During the rescue mission, they identified that over 200 vehicles were in the crash with 1 death toll.
Later, the bridge was closed to all traffic.
