The baby, named Santiago, requires constant medical attention, authorities said. Santiago has blonde hair and was last seen wearing white velvet pajamas and an oversized brown T-shirt when he was taken late Monday night from a hospital in Seine-Saint-Denis, a northern suburb of Paris.

Police have identified the baby’s 23-year-old father and 25-year-old mother as the sole suspects. Photos of both parents were included in the alert.
