Federal agents have confiscated $6 million worth of cocaine and arrested two men from the Dominican Republic in waters south of Puerto Rico, officials announced on Thursday.
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported that over 660 pounds (300 kilograms) of cocaine were discovered on a boat traveling south of the U.S. territory on Wednesday.
This is the latest in a series of multimillion-dollar drug busts this year in the waters surrounding Puerto Rico. In July, federal agents intercepted $4.6 million worth of cocaine west of the island.
