A severe hailstorm wreaked havoc on concert attendees at a Louis Tomlinson show in Colorado on Wednesday evening, resulting in injuries to nearly 100 individuals, with at least seven requiring hospitalization.
Fans of the popular English singer and songwriter were forced to flee for safety as large hailstones pelted down upon them at the Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, an open-air venue located approximately 10 miles west of Denver. The intensity of the storm led to the cancellation of the concert.
One Twitter user compared the scene to a horror movie and shared a video showing a torrential downpour of hail on an outdoor staircase. According to the West Metro Fire Rescue, seven people were taken to nearby hospitals with injuries that were not life-threatening. Additionally, approximately 80 to 90 individuals were treated at the scene for various ailments, including cuts and broken bones.

As authorities responded to the incident, sporadic hail continued to fall in the area, as reported by the fire department during the early hours of Thursday morning. The National Weather Service in Boulder had issued severe thunderstorm warnings for the region, with some areas experiencing hailstones as large as golf balls.
Louis Tomlinson expressed his devastation over the cancellation of the show and extended his well wishes to the attendees, stating, “Hope everyone’s okay. I’ll be back!”
Initially, Red Rocks Park had announced a delay in Tomlinson’s performance due to the inclement weather, urging concertgoers to seek shelter in their vehicles. However, it later confirmed the official postponement of the show and provided reassurance that further information would be provided to ticket holders regarding next steps.
A social media user captured the terrifying moment when hail rained down on people desperately searching for cover and described it as a dreadful experience. The video included a voice asking about the well-being of those affected by the hailstorm.

Another individual shared a photo revealing the large size of the hail pellets, recounting their bruised back from the onslaught. Yet another person expressed the sheer terror they endured, unable to find shelter while the hail relentlessly pounded them, making it the scariest encounter of their life.
