WAUKESHA, Wis. — A 17-year-old Wisconsin teen allegedly murdered his parents in a calculated plan to gain financial independence and autonomy — with the ultimate goal of assassinating former President Donald Trump and overthrowing the U.S. government, federal authorities said in court filings.
Teen Charged With Multiple State Offenses
Nikita Casap, 17, was arrested in March and faces two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of hiding a corpse, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department. Additional charges include theft of property over $10,000 and misappropriating identification to obtain money.
The victims were identified as his stepfather, Donald Mayer, 51, and mother, Tatiana Casap, 35. They were discovered dead inside their Waukesha County residence on March 1, following a welfare check.

Federal Charges Being Pursued
Federal court documents reveal that Casap is also under investigation for conspiracy, presidential assassination, and the use of weapons of mass destruction. According to a federal affidavit, Casap was allegedly in communication with individuals who were aware of his plans and may have assisted him.
Extremist Manifesto and Planned Attack
Authorities say Casap possessed extremist writings featuring images of Adolf Hitler alongside the text:
“HAIL HITLER HAIL THE WHITE RACE HAIL VICTORY”
The affidavit further alleges that Casap communicated with other parties about his intention to kill the President and carry out a government coup. He reportedly purchased a drone and explosives, which were intended to be used in a future attack.

Current Legal Proceedings
Casap appeared in court on April 9 for a preliminary hearing related to his state charges. He has not yet entered a plea and remains in custody. His arraignment is scheduled for May 7, according to the Waukesha County court docket.
