A married couple has mysteriously vanished under “suspicious” circumstances, prompting a search by the police, who are appealing to the public for any information. Karen Koep and her husband, known only as Davido, from Washington state, were reported missing by the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office after a welfare check at their home in the Lake Forest development, north of Seattle. The concern arose when one of them failed to show up for work.

Deputies, responding to the welfare check on Monday, discovered that the husband and wife were missing, and the circumstances surrounding their disappearance were deemed suspicious, as stated in a Facebook post by the sheriff’s office on Wednesday.

Subsequently, their car, a 2015 silver Toyota Yaris, was located on a street in Lacey, east of Olympia, close to Koep’s workplace as a chiropractor, as listed on Zocdoc.

Commenters on the sheriff’s office Facebook page expressed shock over Koep’s disappearance, praising her work as a chiropractor. “That’s my chiropractor. She is wonderful. I hope all is well!” one wrote.

While the sheriff’s office has withheld many details to maintain the integrity of the investigation, they released a photo of the missing vehicle in hopes of generating leads from the public. Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen the car to contact them at detectives@co.thurston.wa.us or through dispatch at 360-704-2740.
