Playboy Model Divorces Herself So She Can Party As A Single Woman

It’s a story that will probably leave you scratching your head, but a Playboy model who married herself last year because she was disappointed in relationships, is now filing for divorce from herself so she can head to Carnival in Brazil and party as a single woman. Yes, you read that right!

In August 2021, 34-year-old Cris Galera, who is from Sao Paulo, Brazil, but is living in London now, took part in a wedding ceremony to herself, as she was disappointed with her relationships. At the time, she told LAD Bible, “I reached a point where I matured, I realized that I am a strong and determined woman. I was always afraid of being alone, but I realized that I needed to learn to feel good about myself. When that happened, I decided to celebrate it.”

Here’s the part that made us LOL, as she said she doesn’t believe in traditional marriage because they all end. However, here she is less than a year later and ending her marriage to herself?  Ironic, don’t you think?

Galera explains it, “I didn’t divorce myself because I got tired of myself. I like to have a very solid reason and that’s why.” Her very solid reason?

Carnival is taking place next month in Brazil and she wants to go and party as a single woman, not as a married woman. Yeah, you can’t make that stuff up!

Even though her marriage to herself is ending, Galera said she doesn’t regret her decision to do it. She embraced it during the moment, as she wore a wedding dress to appear on the cover of Playboy Australia and even posed with money to show she is “independent and doesn’t need men,” LAD Bible reported.

While her first marriage is ending in divorce, Galera said she is not ruling out another trip down the aisle in the future, if the right person were to come along. She said, “I became such an independent woman, such a self-sufficient woman while I was married to myself.”

So, it sounds like it might take some work to convince her to walk down the aisle again. For a man to get her attention, she said “he has to be beautiful, powerful, charming, fragrant, and rich. That’s the kind of man I want to attract to be on my side.”
