Minneapolis: Fatal Shooting Inside Parked Vehicle Sparks Homicide Investigation

Late Monday night in Minneapolis, a man was tragically discovered dead with gunshot wounds while inside a parked vehicle, according to authorities.
The Minneapolis Police Department reported that shortly before 10:30 p.m., officers from the Fourth Precinct responded to a call concerning a vehicle that had been idling for several hours on a residential street.
Upon their arrival to investigate, officers found a man in his 20s seated in the driver’s position with apparent gunshot injuries. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office is tasked with determining the victim’s identity and ascertaining the cause and manner of death.
In response to the incident, law enforcement deployed their forensic division to gather evidence, and homicide detectives initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
