The jaw-dropping footage, recorded by Robert Sibell, showcases the courageous pooch named Max lounging in the yard when the bear appears, sparking a daring standoff.
As the confrontation unfolds, the bear attempts to seek refuge in a nearby tree but soon scurries away down the road. Simultaneously, Max’s vigilant owner rushes outside to protect the brave canine, leading him away from the wild intruder.
Sibell recounted the thrilling incident, stating, “My wife thought [the barking] was unusual, so she came around the house and saw the bear,” as he shared the footage with Storyful, a video service.
Fortunately, Max emerged from the encounter unharmed, showcasing his remarkable bravery and earning the admiration of all who witnessed the incredible incident.
