Bodybuilder Shot In Altercation With Neighbor Caught On Tape

Bodybuilders may seem like the toughest, most intimidating guys on the planet. They probably may not be someone to mess with. However, Shane Post, a bodybuilder, maybe a guy known for his size and strength, but he is not bulletproof.

Post was shot by a neighbor in Dallas when the two argued over a parking space. The neighbor was sent to jail and was later released on bond. Shane is expected to survive, but his liver, kidney, and colon were damaged as a result of the altercation.

He was in the ICU for a period of time. He stated that the bullet is still in his body. The shooter was identified as Nikki Brown, who was arrested without incident. According to Post’s wife, Brown was apparently irritated with Post over a parking spot when his wife dropped him off.

According to Irina Post, this wasn’t the first time both Shane and Nikki Brown had gotten into an altercation. Only this time, the latter came out clad in a robe with a loaded gun. Irina Post was also with her three month old daughter when the incident took place.

Post is a competitive bodybuilder who is originally from Pittsburgh. He has long been a professional bodybuilder and has competed in various competitions. He won Mr. Pittsburgh in 2017.

While Post is expected to recover, it may be a question of if he’ll ever get back to competing. Gunshots can leave scars on the body, especially if you survive them. Post suffered organ damage, which can lead to health issues down the road.

At this point, it’s hard to tell whether it will affect his quality of life. For his part, he’s lucky to be alive after tensions seemed to have finally boiled over between him and his neighbor. Nikki Brown may be out on bond for the moment, but he may be feeling guilty about this altercation for the rest of his life.

The lesson here is that there should be no point in getting into a senseless altercation. Even over something like a parking spot. Brown may not have been in the right frame of mind during the incident.

However, he took it to extremes that almost cost the life of a husband and a father. It’s hard to imagine what Shane’s wife and child went through. But in the end, he’s lucky to be alive.
