PHILADELPHIA — Authorities are searching for the estranged husband of a woman who was discovered fatally stabbed and wrapped in a blanket inside a Philadelphia garage over the weekend.

The body of 51-year-old Ivelisse Lugo was found on Sunday, shortly after she was reported missing. According to police, Lugo was last seen at her home on Saturday.
Police have identified her estranged husband, Miguel Aguilar, 34, as a person of interest in the case.
Philadelphia police are seeking public assistance to locate a white 2006 Chevrolet Express cargo van, which may be connected to Aguilar. The van bears Pennsylvania license plate number ZRR-4023.
Lugo’s body was found wrapped in a blanket and towel, with a stab wound to her back. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and the murder weapon has yet to be recovered. Police continue to investigate the case and urge anyone with information to come forward.
