Sony’s PlayStation Network experienced a significant outage on Tuesday, leaving gamers across the globe unable to sign in to their accounts. The disruption affected multiple services, causing frustration among players.
According to an update on PlayStation Network’s official website, “some services are experiencing issues,” and users “might have difficulty” logging in, creating accounts, launching games, or accessing video content. The company assured players that they were “working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.” Sony has yet to provide further comment.

Outage tracking site Downdetector recorded a surge in reports late Monday, with thousands more coming in throughout Tuesday as the issue persisted. However, by morning in the U.S., the outage had been resolved. PlayStation Network updated its website to confirm, “All services are up and running.”
