On Tuesday evening, police in San Antonio, Texas, revealed that two corpses found inside a car are believed to belong to Savanah Soto and her boyfriend. The 18-year-old pregnant lady was last seen driving a Kia Optima at around 2 p.m. on Friday within the vicinity of Leon Valley’s Grissom Road; hence causing authorities distress for their safety.
On Tuesday evening, San Antonio Police Chief William McManus disclosed that the remains were discovered in an Optima registered to Soto’s partner and could have been inside for 72-96 hours. Although it has not yet been confirmed by the medical examiner, McManus indicated that law enforcement presumes both individuals found are the absent woman and her significant other.
According to McManus, the crime scene appears extremely confounding, and investigators are possibly considering it as a homicide. He advised that particulars might alter with further examination.
The vanishing of Soto prompted the activation of a CLEAR Alert, which supports law enforcement in finding and saving endangered missing adults. The city of Leon Valley posted on Facebook that Soto had skipped an important medical appointment despite being beyond her due date. Detectives from the Leon Valley Police Department were working to unravel the case by reaching out for more leads and facts.
The well-being of Soto has caused great worry among her relatives, such as Gloria Cordova, her mother. Cordova disclosed that she had not been in contact with her daughter since the induction day and submitted a police report to Leon Valley. In a post on Facebook, Cordova stated that Soto was together with her partner and emphasized that under no circumstance would their daughter voluntarily disappear from view due to Ethan’s demise last year when he was only 15 years old.

Cordova requested assistance in locating her child and expressed concern for the safety of her baby. She stressed that Soto’s disappearance was inexplicable, and urged the community to aid in reuniting mother and daughter. Rachel Soto, grandmother of Soto’s baby boy, echoed this plea by saying a prayer for their safe return home.
