British comedian and actor Russell Brand vehemently denies allegations of sexual assault published in a joint investigation by the Times of London, The Sunday Times, and Channel 4 Dispatches. In a video posted on his social media accounts, Brand refuted the allegations, emphasizing that all his relationships have been consensual.
Brand revealed that he had received “extremely disturbing” communications from a mainstream TV company and a newspaper, detailing a series of “egregious and aggressive attacks.” While acknowledging the accusations, Brand firmly denied the serious allegations against him. Brand’s attorney declined to comment on the allegations.

Brand speculated that these allegations may have arisen due to his recent expansion into the anti-mainstream space, including his podcast “Stay Free with Russell Brand,” where he explores unconventional perspectives. He suggested a concerted effort to control voices in these spaces.
The comedian also accused The Times, The Sunday Times, and Channel 4 of collaborating on a “coordinated attack” against him. He claimed to have witnesses whose accounts contradicted the media outlets’ narratives but did not provide details.
Channel 4, The Times, and The Sunday Times are airing a special program titled “Russell Brand: In Plain Sight,” featuring five women who allege sexual assault, rape, or abuse by Brand. One of these women claims to have had a relationship with Brand when she was 16, alleging grooming and rape.
The Times did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the matter. Brand urged his audience to “stay close, stay awake, and stay free” while addressing the allegations. He currently resides in the U.K., according to his attorney.
