It looks like Rudolph made a stop in Oregon and was trying to get ready for the Christmas holiday. He was “decking the halls” and seemed to get himself tangled up a bit, but the police came to the rescue!
Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife said the people spotted a buck walking around the neighborhoods in Dallas, Oregon. The buck happened to have Christmas lights attached to its antlers, Fox 10 Phoenix reported.
However, a call came to the Dallas Oregon Police Department, and they notified the ODFW staff, who could locate the buck and dart him to remove the lights. In a post on the ODFW Facebook page, they said a reminder about their Christmas decorations as it may intervent with the wildlife lifestyle, which what happened with the buck called as Rudolph
Another resident, Reed shared a video showing the buck with the entangled lights around it. She told the station that she originally saw the deer pictured in a Facebook post, but then she ended up seeing the deer in her backyard.

According to officials, there were no injuries found on the buck, and he quickly got up and took off after they were able to remove the lights. They also put yellow ear tags in each ear of the buck for identification purposes.
Officials from ODFW said that it is a normal behavior of bucks from October to December to rub their antlers on objects like trees and bushes. That’s their way of showing dominance as they mark their territory through that act, he added. Because of this, they receive reports of bucks getting tangled up in volleyball nets, hammocks, and even Christmas lights each fall.
The Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife asked the people to help prevent this situation by hanging the lights higher. That way, these bucks wouldn’t be able to get into them.
