Woman goes into labor while out clubbing – has no idea she’s pregnant

Woman goes into labor while out clubbing - has no idea she's pregnant

A 20-year-old was shocked when she began having labor pains when she was out at a club partying. She had no idea she was pregnant.

Vivian Wise Ruizvelasco of Mexico was out celebrating a friend’s birthday. The party-loving woman had no idea she was pregnant as she didn’t have a bump and was still having periods.  Fortunately, she had cut back on drinking since having her gallbladder removed last year.

She began having severe hip and stomach pain while celebrating so she decided to go home and rest.

When her symptoms were persisting the next morning, her boyfriend insisted on taking her to the hospital.

It was then that she found out she was going into labor. She describes getting the news as her world “falling apart”.

“Immediately, I went into shock for many reasons– such as if the baby was okay and what I was going to do with him, as I’ve never carried a baby (before) in my life,” Vivian explained.

While most parents are overjoyed by the birth of a child, Vivian and her boyfriend had mixed emotions.

“I didn’t know what I felt (upon seeing him). I didn’t feel hurt or anything at all, but my boyfriend was in shock. “

“I didn’t know what he was thinking, but he clearly had to get moving as there were things we needed, as well as how we were going to pay for the hospital.”

“He had to get all of that from almost one day to the next and he was so scared, but I understood,” Vivian said.

Vivian shared her experience on TikTok showing clips of her out partying followed by a countdown to giving birth.

Many commenters revealed they had similar experiences.

“This happened to me with my first daughter, I never knew I was prego until the day I had her and was getting my period every month,” one person wrote.

“Welcome to the club, I didn’t know I was expecting twins until I was 30 weeks and delivered them at 34 weeks,” another chimed in.

“This is actually common, some women don’t grow a stomach and because of fetal placement, don’t feel the baby kick and are lucky to be asymptomatic,” wrote a third.

Despite the initial shock, Vivian has since embraced motherhood in a big way.

“He’s my son, my partner and the love of my life- it’s honestly the best and most sudden thing that could have happened to me.”
